He’s maybe best known for his work with the celebrated jazz fusion outfit, Snarky Puppy, and he’s widely considered to be one of the greatest drummers in the world today. He’s also risen to “first name” status within the musical colloquial… especially for drummers who refer to the “Larnell” thing, or playing with a “Larnell” type approach.
