Hawksley Workman and Jane Siberry

Jane Siberry is a singer, songwriter and poet whose work is captured on 16 studio albums over 4 decades.  Jane won the Victor Martyn Lynch Staunton award in 2005, although I think awards are just an abstraction for her.  Her 1989 album, Bound By the Beauty was one of the most important albums to come through my life in my teen years, and seemed to point in a direction of pure artistic freedom.  I listened in disbelief that an artist would be allowed to make music that sounded so creative, and I'm lucky to get to chat with Jane today.
